The Changing Faces Project (TCFP) is a mobile application detection device looking at early onset dementia. Using cutting edge facial recognition technology we believe that we can detect early onset dementia some 5 - 10 years prior to diagnosis.

The Changing Faces Project Started because my father, Laurie was diagnosed 24 months too late with Dementia, TCFP is designed to work alongside emerging research that shows early detection of dementia can potentially prolong someones quality of life, possibly up to 10 years by ealry intervention and treatment. TCFP is about technology and community, wives, husbands, children and friends with a dementia story, supporting the dream of getting earlier diagnosis.

Emerging research has found that someone with early onset dementia may have subtle facial changes, which we hope, by capturing facial data, we can build a global research project to change the way people's lives are played out in their final years, through a dignified and controlled manner.
